Lens Options

Lenses suitable for filming at live events:

Sony E 18-110mm F4 G OSS wide angle zoom lens, this lens is good for wide and mid shots. For any distances over 20 metres it may not be tight enough to isolate a member of a panel discussion.

Sony FE 28-135mm f4 G PZ OSS medium to telephoto zoom lens, this lens better for panel sessions and speakers at a lectern.

Canon EF 70-200mm L telephoto zoom lens, this lens is not ‘par-focal’ and would need to be used with a Metabones Smart Adaptor or similar. It is good to get a closer shot, but it should be remembered that the tighter shot will need a more stable camera platform.
